A sea of plasticbags and boxes.

Ive been a bit busy lately with me moving to Copenhagen. But once ive found a place for everything ill start going crazy with my old Wacom tablet. Damn that earthquake in Japan for stopping the production on Cintiq 21ux. If i knew where he lives, i would drop by, and like shake his futureplans. Id bet he is looking in to buying an electric lawnmover. Since he is so busy busting up places, it must be hard to find time to do it the old fashion way! Damn you Mr. Quake!

The next step in the plan is to start learning Zbrush, and instead of only having my characters in 2D, ill start making them in 3D aswell :)
-Ive never played around with 3D, but im sure ill master it in an hour or two lol :D

The weather here is lovely, and i have a balcony :) yay!

Chickenmania

Here are 2 drawings i did, a year ago, with my good friend Epiks. The characters are by my hand,  the letters and coloring is his doing. The SpaceWars piece is made on 3 pieces of A3 paper taped together.
If i remember correctly, i think we looking forward to getting our hands on Starcraft 2.

Ra-ta-ta-ta-ta..

cant seem to get in to a normal sleep pattern after that BA...
stared up at the ceeling for few hours before i looked through my old chest and found a my wacom graphire4 my brother gave me a loong time ago. Never really liked drawing on it. I find it strange that you draw on your tablet... and lines pops up on your screen. i feel somewhat disconnected from my drawing...
but anyways...
Here's a rat'mouse... my first drawing on a pad for... i dont know how many years :)
... hmmm... perhaps i can fall a sleep now.

Thumblina, the Frog and the Fish

Right.
So i just passed my bachelor in illustration :)
The pictures here are the 3, out of the 10 chars in the fairytale, that i choose to focus on.
We have the main character Thumblina, the giant evil toad that by the cover of darksness kidnap Thumblina, and one of the fishes that help Thumblina escape from the toad.
My interpretation of Thumblina is set in a post apocapyptic world set a thousand years from today. When i was rewriting the story, the nuclear meltdown in Japan happened, wich inspiret me alot in how this story could take place in a very grim future.

The pictures are all made in 70x100 cm for prints, and i used a Wacom Cintiq for coloring.
I printet them on some thick rough paper wich makes them a bit more griddy to look at than what you see on your screen :)

Hope you enjoy them as much as i have making them :)
